Hi Neighbors,
This is your friendly block captain reminding you that it's a time to clear off the drains and sidewalks and clear brush obscuring signs and blocking street shoulders on Town property. This is the time of year to make your right of way look great, and let the town haul away the debris. There will be dumpsters throughout the Village for this purpose. Please consult a map at your mailbox stand for more information.
Remember, trees in the ROW are protected, so if you have a concern regarding one, Councilmember Bruce Young can field your question. Paula Dix is the clean-up coordinator this year; thanks Paula! Let me know if you need extra help on your own ROW, hauling debris, or have any questions. Although there are no special projects scheduled this time, there is a real need for extra hands along the path from 5-corners at SE 28th and 106th Pl SE east to 107th. A maple tree came down in the wind two weeks ago and there is a fair amount of debris to haul off.
